Congratulations to Chris and Stephanie on their engagement!
As a California proposal photographer, I have the privilege of witnessing some truly unforgettable moments, and this surprise proposal in Malibu was one for the books. Traveling all the way from Texas, Stephanie thought she and Chris were simply enjoying a romantic getaway along the California coast. Little did she know, Chris had been planning something much more significant.
To keep the surprise intact, Chris told Stephanie they were on their way to dinner but needed to make a quick stop at the beach to pick up his brother. When they arrived, however, there was no brother waiting. Instead, Chris led Stephanie to a beautiful spot overlooking the Malibu coastline, where he got down on one knee and asked her to spend the rest of her life with him.
The surprise was a complete success, and Stephanie's reaction was priceless. Surrounded by the stunning scenery that makes Malibu one of the most popular proposal destinations in Southern California, the couple celebrated their newly engaged status with plenty of smiles, happy tears, and excitement for the future.
After the proposal, we spent time exploring the beach and capturing engagement photos as the sun began to set over the Pacific Ocean. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable Malibu proposal and the beginning of an exciting new chapter for these two.
