There are some wedding days that feel beautiful from the very beginning, and Olivia’s wedding at Casi Cielo Vineyards in Camarillo, California, was one of them.
From the quiet anticipation of getting ready to the golden vineyard landscape, every part of the day felt intentional, romantic, and completely her.
The getting-ready portion of the day also gave us some of my favorite photographs. There is something so special about those quiet moments before a bride steps into her dress, when the excitement is beginning to build and everything still feels wonderfully unhurried.
Casi Cielo Vineyards is such a beautiful setting for a California wedding. The vineyard, rolling hills, open sky, and warm evening light create an incredible backdrop while still allowing the couple to remain the focus.
I photographed portions of the day on medium format film, which felt particularly beautiful against the natural textures and landscape of the venue. Film has a softness and depth that I adore. It encourages me to slow down, be intentional, and photograph the moments that feel worth preserving forever.
Casi Cielo has also made thoughtful improvements to the wedding experience, including an on-site bridal suite, upgraded guest restrooms, event rentals, lighting, and additional coordination and support. These details allow couples to enjoy the beauty of the property while feeling cared for throughout their celebration.
